For more than 80 years, the Cannes Film Festival has stood at the centre of the film industry, drawing actors, directors, executives, media and members of the public from around the world. During my five years of covering the festival, I photographed the carefully choreographed glamour of the red carpet alongside the more candid moments at cinema’s most prestigious gathering.
