North Korea.

In 2018, I travelled to North Korea with journalist Russell Myers to cover the 70th anniversary of the country's founding. During a week-long visit, we witnessed vast military parades, the Mass Games and other state-orchestrated spectacles; the only glimpse of day to day life came as we travelled from place to place. As independent journalism is prohibited, every movement was closely monitored by government escorts.
